Franklin County Housing Summit

The Franklin County Board of Commissioners invites members of the public to attend a meeting to be facilitated by the Florida Housing Coalition. Franklin County’s workforce faces challenges of escalating housing costs for both rental and homeownership. The Coalition will present their findings on the housing needs in the County and propose practical solutions for increasing the supply of affordable homes and for retrofitting older homes for accessibility, energy efficiency and hurricane hardening. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions as they learn about various programs that help reduce housing costs burdens.
