BOCC Special Meeting

The Franklin County Board of County Commissioners will meet in Special Session on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at 11:30 a.m. (ET) in the county commission meeting room located at 34 Forbes Street, Apalachicola, Florida, for the following purpose:

To discuss and possibly take action on a sales contract to purchase the old Gulf State Bank Building at the Intersection of Highway 98 and Island Drive, Eastpoint, Florida.

Public participation is encouraged either by attending in person or virtually.  Information to participate virtually (Zoom) is on the meeting’s agenda (https://www.franklincountyflorida.com/resources/agendas-minutes/).

In accordance with Section 286.0105, Florida Statutes, any person who wishes to appeal a decision made by the Franklin County Board of County Commissioners, with respect to any matter considered at the meeting, must have a record of the proceedings. He or she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made.
