- Franklin County issues Peddler’s Licenses for Mobile Food Vendors, Stands, or Mobile Units.
- We do not currently issue a Business Tax Receipt (Business License) for Short Term Rentals or other Business Professionals.
- Cloudpermit is currently not compatible with a mobile device. Please use a tablet, laptop or PC.

The portal will then guide you through the application process.
- An Invoice/Payment request will be sent once your application has been approved by the Franklin County Compliance Department
- Once payment is made, a copy of your license will be available to be downloaded and printed from the portal.
- Once printed a copy will be required to be posted in your Peddler’s License (If you would like to pick up a physical copy of your license, a copy can be picked up during business hours.)
- Cash and checks made payable to Franklin County Compliance can be dropped off in office or mailed in.
- Apply by mail or in person by submitting an application with payment
- Application forms can be submitted in person or mailed to the Compliance Department located at 248 US Hwy 98, Eastpoint, FL 32328. Payment will be due upon submission
What is Peddling?
Franklin County Ordinance 1996-14 defines Peddling as the carrying of merchandise for concurrent sale and delivery going from place to place seeking sales to customers, and shall include sale of merchandise from a vehicle, wagon, or container from, in or on the public rights of way of any county road, any county park, or other property of Franklin County. What are the license requirements and fees?
Licenses shall be issued for each calendar year
- $150.00 per year for licenses issued on or before March 30th of each year.
- $300.00 per year for licenses issued after March 30th of each year
- Licenses shall expire on December 31st of each year
Other Peddling Licensing Facts
- Licenses shall not be transferable
- Licenses shall only apply to one vehicle, wagon, or stand at a time
- If your product is regulated by the State of Florida, it is the responsibility of the vendor to obtain all state required licenses or permits prior to setting up in Franklin County, Florida.
